Morris Dance Beginners Workshop

The Helsinki Morrisers started in 1995 in downtown Helsinki. The first public performance took place one sunny summer evening at the local British Embassy from where our logo the sycamore seed comes. Our big Morris festival was in 2004. This autumn we plan to keep developing our own style of dancing at our twice monthly practices.

We make yearly visits between Helsinki and Stockholm with Eken Morris from Stockholm – we are members of the Arctic Morris Association!

This beginners workshop is a great time to come try Morris dancing. All are welcome to this free event!
