The Finnish National Certificates of Language Proficiency (Yleiset kielitutkinnot, YKI) are language proficiency tests for adults. They assess language skills in practical situations where adults may generally need to speak, listen, write, or read in a foreign language — at home or abroad. Improved English language skills help you to collaborate better in the workplace, and at some workplaces, there are also policies and practices linking proven language competencies to increased salaries.
