Cambridge English Qualifications
The qualifications are based on research into effective teaching and learning. They motivate people of all ages and abilities to learn English and develop practical skills for the real world.
Each exam focuses on a level of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), helping learners to improve their speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills step by step. Cambridge English Qualifications Digital B2 First for Schools, C1 Advanced, and C2 Proficiency exams are scheduled for 1 June 2024.

Cambridge English: B2 First for Schools+–
The B2 First for Schools qualification proves you have the language skills to live and work independently in an English-speaking country or study on courses taught in English. Your certificate does not expire.

Cambridge English: C1 Advanced+–
C1 Advanced is an in-depth, high-level qualification that shows you have the language skills that employers and universities are looking for. Your certificate does not expire.

Your certificate can be awarded at different levels, depending on your achievement. For example, if you take the C1 Advanced…
…you will receive the level C1 certificate if you achieve a scale score of 180–199 (grade B or C) in your exam.
…you will receive the level C2 certificate if you achieve a scale score of 200–210 (grade A) in your exam. This happens when exceptional candidates show ability beyond the C1 level.
…you will receive the level B2 certificate if your performance is below level C1 but falls within level B2 (scale score 160–179).
Cambridge English: C2 Proficiency+–
C2 Proficiency is our highest-level qualification – proof that you are a highly competent English speaker. This qualification shows the world that you have mastered English to an exceptional level. It proves you can communicate in English with fluency and sophistication. Your certificate does not expire.
Preparing for and passing the exam means you have the level of English that is needed to study or work in a very senior professional or academic environment, such as on a postgraduate or PhD programme.

The Cambridge English Exam Result and Certificate+–
Your Cambridge English Qualifications Digital exam result will be available in 5-10 working days. The Confirmation of Entry document you receive from the test centre on the day of the exam will state the final date by which your result will be available.
Your Cambridge English Qualifications certificate will be mailed to you by post within three months. Your certificate does not expire. Recognising organisations such as universities, colleges, and employers can choose how long they accept results, so make sure you always check their requirements.
