British Accents and Their Idiosyncrasies – a Talk by David Stokes

To kick off the evening programme, join us at the Finnbrit Open House 2025 to hear an exiting talk by David Stokes on British accents!

The talk will be followed by a 15-minute quiz, when you will be given the opportunity to try and recognise some common dialect, local, and loan words used across the four countries of Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and England.
