Forest Mind/Metsämieli – A Guided Walk of Lauttasaari’s Coastal Forest

Forest Mind Metsämieli Guided Walk

Wednesday, 11 June 2025

10:00 – 11:00

Join us for a relaxing walk along Lauttasaari’s scenic coastal paths. This guided walk is designed to help you connect with nature, enjoy simple exercise, and support your well-being.

The walk is about breaking out of everyday life, the feelings of awe and wonder, admiring the nature and landscapes, improving circulation, and reducing stress. The route follows easy, accessible public paths along the coast, with wonderful scenery and nature immersion along the way. The walk will take approximately one hour.

You will be invited to do simple exercises at certain stopping points along the walk. These are designed to help us recognise how our minds and bodies work together, achieving mindfulness through breathing and fostering positive feelings of recovery and refreshment by engaging our senses.

We will walk and learn together, with everyone given their own space and peace. Participants can choose how much they want to engage, but all will experience appreciation, shared moments of presence, and a sense of recharging their positive energy.

We will meet at Lauttasaari Metro Station to start the session, and end at Veijarivuori Beach at Paseo Cafe in Vattuniemi. From there, you can take the bus back to the Metro station or city centre.
