As a member, you can set up your own event!
If you are interested in a particular topic or activity, and you would like to meet people with similar interests, you can create and lead a Finnbrit event or club!
How does it work?
Suggest an event or club+–
… by contacting us at finnbrit@finnbrit.fi with your idea and preferences for the venue, time, and date.
Promotion+–
Finnbrit will advertise the event on our website and/or our social media and provide you with the guest list prior to the event. In addition to yourself, a minimum of four people must sign up for the event for it to take place. If we do not receive enough bookings, the event may be cancelled.
At the event+–
As leader of the event, you would be responsible for greeting guests and liaising with the Finnbrit office team with regards to venue arrangements and refreshments, etc. For ticketed events held at external venues, everyone gets their own tickets (if applicable), and you, as the leader of the event, should wait for everyone at the ticket booth. Then you can all go to the event as a group, agree where to meet during the interval / break for a chat, and meet up after the event.
After the event+–
In the case of a trip to an external event, save your ticket receipt, bring it to the office, and we will reimburse you up to 30€.
The events will be posted on the Finnbrit website, so do keep a look out and join in the fun!
