An evening with a taste of the north-east

The Federation of Finnish-British Societies and the British Embassy in Helsinki will organise their annual autumn seminar on Spirit of Place during the afternoon, with a focus on the North of England and especially the North-East. After the seminar, we will have an evening of tunes, songs, and poems from this area — Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesboro, and Northumbria.

Please join us! Your contributions are welcome, or just come along and enjoy the ‘craic’ — this is a Gaelic word but it’s widely used in the area.
