The Finnish Cultural and Academic Institutes presents “Beyond Populism” online seminar and discussion series reaching beyond rhetorics used in politics. The aim of the series is to make us all think how the core of the research is communicated intact whilst making it more understandable for everyone. And perhaps because of the generalisations and simplifications, the research findings are also interpreted and used to serve political objectives.
Professor Arttu Rajantie from Imperial College, London, starts the series on Wed 31.3.2021 at 16.00 with a discussion on “What did I learn when I tried to stop Brexit?”. The seminar is arranged by the Finnish Institute in the UK and Ireland. It takes place via Zoom, is open to every one and free-of-charge.
